Marshyangdi River RaftingRising form the Northern slopes of the Annapurna Himal, the river passes through the arid Manang region before roaring its way into the lower foothills to join with the Trisuli River. Not only renowned for is raging rapids and fast flowing water, the Marsyandi is also a beauty when it comes to scenery, nature and culture, from every sweeping bend of the river you get tantalizing glimpses of the snow capped peaks back drooping terraced rice fields and tiny, tradional housed villages. The water runs a clear turquoise blue and is dotted with boulders that have been sculptured by nature herself. The river dishes out a sever Adrenaline overload to any who dare to paddle it, and with an experienced crew this is certainly a choice river for serious rafter, or those who have previously had their taste for white water whetted on a tamer river. If you are looking for a white water challenge, magnificent scenery and pristine water then this is the trip for you.
