Seti River: Nepal's Warmest RiverThe perfect introduction to Himalayan white water a short Wilderness rafting experiences on Nepal's warmest river Rafting simple means team work and camaraderie in an idyllic wilderness setting in a word, the seti River, Its waters flow through technical chutes and channels allowing our shills as paddlers to grow, the rapids are grade II and III-big waves, challenging holes and narrow runs, all wetting your appetites for more!

The beauty of the seti extends beyond its warmish sparkling waters; the Seti River is in an isolated gorge surrounded by luscious jungle, you can sort abundant wildlife along the riverbanks, including monkeys, deer and a wide array of birds and butterflies. Several villages are nestled neatly into the face of the gorge allowing us to stop for a village walk alone the way.

Mid day on the 2nd day is the take out point down stream of where the Seti has joined the Trishuli.form here it's less than an hour to Royal Chitwan National Parks.

Accessibility, Transportation, Timetable & location

Damauli, the put-in point for rafting on Seti River is 5 hours from Kathmandu by tourist bus. Whitewater Nepal arranges transportation for you. The 36km of river action take 2 days. The take-out point of Seti river trip is at Gaighat and it is approximately 4 - 5 hours drive from both Kathmandu and Pokhara and 1 hrs for Royal National park to Chitwan.

What to bring with you

Please bring with you shorts and a T-shirt or swimwear for on the river, suitable footwear for wearing in the raft, warm clothing for the evenings, a towel, sun block and your camera. A flashlight is also useful.

What you need to tell us

Please tell us if you are a non-swimmer, or not very confident in the water. Also it is essential that you inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your well being on the trip.
Don’t forget to request vegetarian meals if required.
